Ashina the witch is a mysterious and powerful sorceress who is known for her dark and sinister magic. Legends say that she was once a beautiful and kind-hearted woman, but her thirst for power corrupted her soul and turned her into a twisted and malevolent being. Ashina was believed to have lived in a secluded and hidden fortress deep in the heart of a dark and enchanted forest. It was said that the forest itself was an extension of her magical powers, with the trees whispering her name and the animals serving as her loyal minions. Her powers were rumored to be unmatched, able to control the elements, bend minds, and even raise the dead. She was said to have a particular affinity for dark magic, often using it to curse those who defied her or stood in her way.
You play as the titular character (who goes by “Ash”) as she struggles to adjust to the passing of her mother. Ash looks after her younger sister Tena, who has a devil-may-care attitude towards life. One night after Tena leaves their apartment, a ghost named Tanto enters the home and steals Ash’s only memento from her mother; a pendant that seems innocuous at first. Ash chases after Tanto, only to end up in a spirit realm that isn’t too kind to humans. She only has a few hours to retrieve her pendant before she’s stuck forever in this alternate world.
One feature that I adored is the fact that the game automatically combines objects in your inventory, removing any frustration that can be common in this genre. Most of these spirits are just curious about how a human ended up among the spirits and will either help you out in your journey or at least make you chuckle.
She was said to have a particular affinity for dark magic, often using it to curse those who defied her or stood in her way. Ashina was known to be incredibly manipulative and cunning, often using her beauty and charm to ensnare her victims. She would lure unsuspecting travelers into her fortress, where they would become trapped and subjected to her twisted experiments.

I was really excited to read "Ashina the Witch" based on all the positive reviews, but I was deeply disappointed. The plot felt disjointed and lacking in substance.
