Located along the northeastern Hamakua Coast, Akaka Falls State Park is home to two gorgeous waterfalls fed by the Kolekole Stream Akaka Falls and Kahuna Falls.
It's a truly enchanting sight. Amongst the greenery, you may catch glimpses of elusive creatures such as colorful birds, butterflies, and even the occasional fairy. The forest seems to come alive with their presence, adding to the sense of magic that permeates the air.

I had high hopes for the Magical Enchanted Forest in Maui, but my experience was far from magical. The whole place felt extremely overcrowded with tourists, and it was impossible to enjoy the tranquility of nature that I was expecting. The trails were poorly maintained and there was litter everywhere, it really ruined the ambiance. Additionally, the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful and enchanting forest experience.

I was disappointed with my visit to the Magical Enchanted Forest in Maui. The entry fee was quite steep for what was essentially just a walk through a regular forest trail. There weren't any unique or special features that justified the high price. The advertised "magical" elements were limited to some tacky fairy decorations scattered around. Overall, I felt like I could have had a more enjoyable and authentic nature experience at a free public park. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Unfortunately, my visit to the Magical Enchanted Forest was underwhelming. The forest itself was beautiful, no doubt about that, but the entire experience felt rushed and commercialized. It was more like a tourist attraction that prioritized photo opportunities over connecting with nature. The constant stream of visitors made it difficult to have a peaceful experience, and the designated "quiet areas" were anything but. I was hoping for a more magical and immersive experience, but I left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied.
