The Magic Tree House is a popular children's book series written by Mary Pope Osborne. One of the books in the series titled "Leprechaun in Late Winter" revolves around the magical adventures of siblings, Jack and Annie. In this particular book, the siblings are transported to ancient Ireland through their magic tree house. They arrive in a lush green landscape filled with rolling hills and sheep. Soon enough, they encounter a mischievous and elusive leprechaun named Teddy. Teddy is a small creature with a pointy hat, red beard, and shiny shoes.
Torrid offers their famous premium leggings in a maternity style which are very popular; however, some folks (including me) prefer to wear their regular non-maternity style leggings during pregnancy (sizing up if needed).
For non-maternity pieces, look for knits, jersey knits, wrap dresses, elasticated waistbands, tunic style shirts, oversized sweaters, side ruching, and blazers that have an angled closure. I didn t even know there was an option over a 3X at all during my own pregnancy but after some research, I ve learned that Yours Clothing does offer maternity jeans in sizes up to a US 30.
Teddy is a small creature with a pointy hat, red beard, and shiny shoes. He is known for his tricks and pranks, as well as his love for gold. He leads Jack and Annie on a quest to find his pot of gold, which has been stolen by a wicked fairy named Fiona.

The storyline felt very predictable and the characters lacked depth. Additionally, I found the writing style to be quite dull and unengaging. Overall, I didn't find this book to be as magical as I had hoped and it didn't hold my attention.
- James - 1 star - As a fan of the Magic Tree House series, I had high hopes for "Magic Tree House Leprechaun". Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The plot felt rushed and the whole leprechaun aspect was underdeveloped. I felt like there could have been so much more potential in exploring the leprechaun folklore and its ties to Irish culture. Instead, it was just a shallow and forgettable read. I would not recommend this book to other fans of the series.
