I had a blast working on this Motown Magic Cake Smash session for this handsome fella.

Let me be honest, I have never heard of Motown Magic before. But when mom brought this up to me, I dove right into my research. I loved reading this article in Rolling Stone Magazine about it. What an absolutely adorable television show for babies, toddlers and young children alike. Maybe it’s my deep rooted love for soul music, maybe it’s my love for lots of vibrant colors, or maybe it’s my love for cartoons.. Maybe it’s a little bit of everything. But lets be real, this surely made for a cute cake smash idea.

Just like most of the little ones, he started off really slow with the cake. He was interested, very interested (I think it was because the cake looked too perfect to want to mess up) but was very slow to eat it. But ones he opened his heart, and mouth, it was on! The first place he wanted to store some was his hair! I mean, why not?

We got down to business after the sugar started to get digested. He really liked the colorful sprinkles we put on top as well.

He started to dance when we put on the Motown Magic show on phone. The first song we listened to was from Jackson Five. He stopped in his tracks, tuned in extra close to the song and started to dance, laugh and eat more cake.

Reviews for "Motown's Battle for Racial Equality: Breaking Barriers in the Music Industry"

- Jessica - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with Motown Magic Cale. The show lacked originality and felt like a rehashed version of other Motown-themed shows. The performances were lackluster and didn't capture the energy and charisma of the original Motown artists. I also felt that the storyline was weak and didn't engage me as a viewer. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone looking for an authentic Motown experience.
- Tyler - 1 star - Motown Magic Cale was a total letdown for me. The production value was subpar and the set design looked cheap. The actors seemed unenthusiastic and out of sync, making the whole experience feel phony. Additionally, the sound quality was terrible, with garbled vocals and music that often overpowered the performers. It's a shame because I had high hopes for this show, but it failed to deliver on every level.
- Emma - 2 stars - Motown Magic Cale fell flat for me. The performances felt forced and robotic, lacking the soul and passion that Motown music is known for. The choreography was sloppy and uninspired, making it hard to stay engaged throughout the show. The only redeeming aspect was the selection of songs, but even those were poorly executed. Overall, I found this show to be a disappointment and would not recommend it to Motown fans.
