I got sent the script and a look book, which is quite unusual; it was full of visual ideas Rob had for the movie, which helped me get an idea of what it was going to look like, because obviously with a period thing like this, it doesn t immediately spring to mind. By the time you see them in this film, it s all starting to fall apart, but it was important that there was a very loving relationship in their past.
