Whenever you use your gather power class feature, the gathered energy swirls around you, forming a protective barrier. You gain a deflection bonus to AC equal to half your mythic tier (rounded down, minimum 1).

Uses of mythic power gained in this way are lost once the spirit leaves you, and they can be spent only on path abilities from the same mythic path with which the spirit is associated. Masters of the elements, kineticists wield a strange and ill-controlled power as their bodies strain to act as vessels for the roaring might of the Elemental Planes.

There was another witch, named Lilith, who was jealous of Rose's popularity and abilities. Lilith was bitter and resentful, and she believed that she deserved to be the most powerful witch in the village. One day, when Rose was out for a walk in the forest, Lilith followed her, full of anger and envy.

Occult Classes

Beyond the worship of the divine and the studies of arcane scholars lies the mysterious terrain of the mind, accessed through psychic magic. Classes that draw upon psychic magic do so via innate mental abilities, whether they directly cast spells, create elemental effects, or focus psychic energy through objects. Members of these occult classes find themselves drawn to the strange and the hidden; they have connections to the timeless Astral Plane, the haunted bleakness of the Ethereal Plane, and the history of the Material Plane chronicled as psychic impressions in places and objects.

Psychic magic is a third type of magic that functions differently from arcane and divine magic. The rules for casting psychic spells appear in the Psychic Magic section. The occult classes' spell lists include many new spells from Occult Adventures, allowing them to fully express their mental powers. These spells, like other new rules elements, are marked with an asterisk (*).

The villagers, once grateful for her help, began to distance themselves from her, afraid of the emotional turmoil she unintentionally brought upon them. Unable to reverse the curse, Rose withdrew from society and lived in isolation. She spent her days tending to a small herb garden, hoping to find solace in nature. Though her powers were gone, her heart remained pure, and she continued to pray for the well-being of the village. As time passed, the villagers began to realize the true nature of Rose's curse and the sacrifices she had made for them. They understood that it was never Rose's intention to harm them, and they could now see the depth of her love and compassion. In their guilt and remorse, they rallied together to find a way to break the curse. After months of research and consultation with wise elders, the villagers discovered a way to reverse the Good Witch Curse. They gathered all the villagers in the center of the village and invited Rose to join them. With tears in their eyes, they apologized for misunderstanding her and begged for her forgiveness.
