That's when I saw her - standing by the old oak tree near my house. She had long, tangled black hair and was wearing a tattered, ragged dress that flowed in the wind. Her eyes stared at me with an intensity that sent shivers down my spine. I couldn't look away - something about her gaze had me spellbound. And then, without warning, she started to move towards me. Her walk was slow and deliberate, each step sending chills up my spine. I ran back inside, my heart pounding in my chest. I locked the door behind me, hoping to keep her out. But as I turned around, I saw her through the window. She was floating in the air, her eyes glowing red, and her mouth curling into a wicked smile. I screamed and ran to my room, trying to hide. I knew I had to protect myself, so I looked for something, anything that could ward off evil spirits. I found a small vial of holy water and held onto it tightly. Minutes turned into hours as I sat there, waiting for the witch to leave. The cackling continued outside, and the wind howled louder than ever. But eventually, the noise started to fade away, and the silence returned. I cautiously came out of my hiding place and looked outside. The witch was gone. The only thing that remained was a sense of fear that had settled deep within me. To this day, I can't explain what happened that night. Was it a figment of my imagination, or was it a real encounter with a witch? I guess I'll never know. But one thing is for certain – that bone-chillingly scary experience will stay with me forever..
