Sing and learn with the Leapfrog Touch Magic Learning Bus

The main learning game on the Touch Magic Learning Bus teaches your child letters. It asks your child to touch a letter than says the letter and adds a cool sound effect. This was very effective for my two year old. He plays with the letter game constantly!

Letter Exploration:

The Touch Magic Learning Bus has a great letter recognition game. The bus asks your child to touch a certain letter and then celebrates once the correct letter is selected. It also asks your child to select a letter that starts with a certain sound. My five year old daughter loves this game.

Some of the songs played on the Learning Bus include The ABC Song, The Wheels on the Bus and more. When songs are playing you can select a band member to play instruments. This is a very fun feature that both my kids love.

What I love most about the Touch Magic Learning Bus:

  • I love the flat surface of the bus, no grooves to clean out and very easy to use for little fingers.
  • The size of the Learning Bus. It’s not too bulky and is light.
  • The two volume levels, not everyone wants to hear the bus singing at top volume all day long!
  • The instrument features, its great for little ones to hear what a tuba and drums sound like when added in a song.
  • The piano keyboard and extra drums where the wheels are located.
  • The on and off button on the front of the bus AND on the back of the bus.

Overall this is another GREAT Leap Frog toy. If you’re shopping for a toddler soon make sure to check out the Learning Bus. You can find the Learning Bus at many stores across Canada and the US. You can also purchase it on the Leap Frog website.

Leapfrog Touch Magic Rockin’ Guitar & Learning Bus Review

Leapfrog sent me two new products, the Touch Magic Rockin’ Guitar and the Touch Magic Learning Bus. We had a Rock ‘n Learn party with our cousins so we could try the products out.

The first product all of them wanted to try was the Rockin’ Guitar.

The kids had a lot of fun with this guitar. They enjoyed the songs that were in the guitar and liked pressing the silly sounds button. I liked that it had a strap so they could wear it like a real guitar. It also had an easy on/off button on the front which was nice so the kids could learn how to turn it off themselves.

Nana and Maddie playing the guitar

After I opened the guitars I took the Learning Bus out.

I love toys that teach the alphabet while still being fun and the Learning Bus is definitely one of those types of toys. Along with learning the ABC’s there was also a musical feature to this toy. The toy has a keyboard and then the wheels are a cymbal and a drum. The animals in the windows of the bus tell a little about their instruments and then play music when touched.

Overall, I like the Touch Magic toys. Kids nowadays are used to playing games on touch screen smartphones so I liked that these had the touch play feature. The children preferred the Touch Magic Rockin’ Guitar over the Learning Bus, but as a parent, I preferred the bus.

My only concern about these products is the durability of them. I am used to children’s toys being thicker and sturdier but these two toys seem a little flimsy. I am not sure how they will hold up but for about $25 each I think they are both still a wise investment.

(Disclosure: I received products from Leapfrog to review but all thoughts are my own.)

LeapFrog Touch Magic Learning Bus

LeapFrog was kind enough to send us a new Touch Magic Learning Bus to have some fun with. My little girl loves it. Sadie is almost three, and all of a sudden she is making that huge leap with counting and letter recognition. So the Touch Magic Learning Bus could not have come at a better time. Of course, anything that incorporates music is a winner in her book…and mine.

Like the Touch Magic Rockin’ Guitar I posted about last week, the Learning Bus uses LeapFrog’s new touch technology to recognize and respond to touches and swipes from little fingers. This makes it completely intuitive for kids. Sadie sat down and was using it right away. I didn’t have to show her what to do, or explain anything to her.

I love the smooth Touch Magic interface. I can easily give it a quick wipe down without having to worry about mystery nooks and crannies. With school starting for us next week, germs are going to be a issue. Not to gross anybody out or anything, but let me just say two words: Stomach flu. It’s not pretty, but it’s out there, and it reeks havoc on toys and blankets. It’s nice to have a smooth wipeable toy, right?

Sadie loves that she can play with the letters, the piano keys, or the cute animals in the top window. Even the wheels add a drum sound.

Our favorite thing to do is sit down and play with it together. She likes to show me what everything does. Learning through teaching, it’s the best way! Plus I get to have some snuggle time, while she gets some play time. It’s been great for early morning couch time in our PJs!

My not so little guy Max, who is going into first grade, likes to play with it too. He likes the game mode. It asks him specific questions, or tells him to touch a certain letter, and he loves getting it right.

In fact, the other day they were using it to play school together. They had it set up on the vintage school desk in Max’s room and were taking turns being the teacher. Those stinkers wouldn’t let me get a picture though. But that’s ok, I just sat back and took a mental snapshot of them playing together so sweetly.

We are big fans of LeapFrog in our house, and we definitely love this new line of toys. They keep the kids engaged, and playtime smoothly transitions into learning time.

I was really disappointed with "Jnx yhe curae". The plot was all over the place and it was hard to follow what was happening. The characters were not developed enough for me to care about any of them. The writing style was also very jarring, with awkward sentence structure and excessive use of metaphors. Overall, I found it to be a confusing and unenjoyable read.

I had high expectations for "Jnx yhe curae" based on the hype it received, but unfortunately, it did not live up to them. The story seemed promising at first, but it quickly became repetitive and predictable. The dialogue felt forced and unrealistic, making it difficult to connect with the characters. Additionally, the pacing was uneven, with long stretches of boredom followed by rushed action sequences. Overall, I found "Jnx yhe curae" to be a lackluster and underwhelming reading experience.

I really struggled to get into "Jnx yhe curae". The writing style was overly flowery and verbose, making it hard to stay engaged. The plot had potential, but it lacked depth and failed to explore interesting ideas. The characters were one-dimensional and lacked development, which made it difficult to root for them. Overall, I found this book to be a chore to read and it left me feeling unsatisfied.
