I've used Gearbase on several occasions, and they've always had the gear I was looking for, and were great to deal with. Their downtown location close to transit makes it easy to get to and the folks there are always super friendly. I'm a hobbyist photographer, so I don't always have the budget to spend on top tier glass for special use occasions so renting makes the most sense to me for usage during my travels. Gearbase's prices are reasonable, and I've never had any issues with availability. They're also very friendly and customer focused - they'll chat about what you're going to be shooting when I've gone to pick up the lenses , and recently was nice enough to waive my cancellation charges for a lens recently due to unforeseen changes to my travels - which they definitely didn't have to do. I've been more than pleased with Gearbase in the several times I've used them, and will definitely recommend others to come here as well for photo and video gear. read more
