This live cinema transmission is part of the Met s award-winning Live in HD series, bringing opera to more than 2,200 theaters in more than 70 countries worldwide.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s The Magic Flute (Die Zauberflöte)
Mozart’s final opera (written before La Clemenza di Tito but first performed later) premiered in Vienna in September 1791, just weeks before the composer’s death, with Mozart conducting the orchestra from the fortepiano. A timeless fairy tale, it was a major success from the beginning and never lost its place as one of the most popular works in the repertoire. Julie Taymor’s beloved Met production opened in 2004. Its abridged English-language version, which returns in December 2013 as the company’s annual holiday presentation for families, inaugurated the Met’s Live in HD series of performance transmissions to movie theaters around the world in 2006.

1. Jennifer - 1/5 stars - I was really disappointed with the Vtech Mickey Magical Wonderland toy. The build quality was poor and it felt cheaply made. The interactive features were not very engaging, and my child quickly lost interest in playing with it. I also found the volume to be way too loud, even on the lowest setting. Overall, I would not recommend this toy.
2. Mark - 2/5 stars - While the concept of Vtech Mickey Magical Wonderland was promising, the execution fell flat for me. The toy had limited activities and the interactions were repetitive. Additionally, the sound quality was not great, and the voice of Mickey Mouse sounded distorted and unnatural. I had hoped for a more engaging and immersive experience for my child, but unfortunately, this toy didn't deliver.
